Looking for an Unsecured Personal Loan in Montana?
Are the bills piling up but you just can’t get them all paid on time? The late fees are probably adding up as well, aren’t they? By the time you are able to make these payments, it is more than likely going to cost you more money than you would normally pay if you were able to make the payments on time. If you are feeling a financial crunch and you find yourself unable to stay afloat in your current situation, it’s time to ask for help. Loans Now can provide the help you need. Through our Loan Discovery Program, we can find you the best solution for the financial issues hindering your success.
“How is owing money to someone going to help me get caught up on my bills?” To answer: an unsecured personal loan can help you in many ways. Not only is our service free to use, saving you from having to spend what money you do have, we can also provide you with money in amounts starting at $500 and as high as $70,000. This gives you the opportunity to get caught up on your overdue rent, utility bills, or car payments. A personal loan will also give you the chance to create an emergency fund — a cushion for when times may get tough again.
Unsecured Loans for People with Bad or No Credit
Loans Now can also offer those with no credit or bad credit help in a crunch. If you think you have bad credit, you should check your credit score to determine exactly where you stand. If you haven’t done so recently, you might just find that your credit is not that far off. Even if your score is low, finding a solution for you is no problem! We can work with individuals who have any of the following on their credit report:
- Scores as low as 450
- Bankruptcy or foreclosures (an issue that can affect approvals with many lenders)
- High credit utilization (how much credit you are using compared to how much you have been offered
- Typically in the form of credit card debt
- Medical bills (which can take a while to pay off on your own)
- Charge-off accounts (when creditors write-off your debt; this can affect your credit for several years)
Not only can we work with bad credit, and not only is our service free, but we also do not run an initial credit check. This helps you even further by preventing your credit score from being reduced even more. All of the details of our program are on our How it Works page; if you explore more you will see that it only takes 60 seconds to fill out the loan discovery questionnaire, with the entire process taking as little as 5 minutes to find you the unsecured personal loan that fits your needs! Get started TODAY, before you accrue more late fees!
Montanans Earn Less
The people of Montana earn approximately $8,000 less than the national average as a household. Combine this with the fact that the cost of living is only slightly less than the national average, it means that Montanans may struggle to meet their financial obligations. If an emergency arises such as an unexpected medical procedure or the need to repair a vehicle, residents of the state will more than likely be unable to afford these costs.
There is also an issue with new businesses coming to the state. Because the population of Montana is relatively small, just over a million people filling Big Sky Country, there is no real incentive for companies to start operations in the state. This means there are no new opportunities for those living in Montana to improve their earnings. Without a way of bettering their current financial situation, the development of an emergency fund or the ability to take a much-needed vacation may be out of reach for many Montanans. When one of these situations comes up, know that an unsecured personal loan from Loans Now can help you meet your financial obligations and help set you up for your financial future.
Montana Laws and Regulations for Bad Credit Personal Loans
In the Montana Code Annotated, the state has placed a limit on the interest allowed on a loan at 15% or six points above the Federal Reserve’s prime rate; the one that is greater is considered the legal maximum (§ 31-1-107). In the absence of a written contract on a loan, the interest rate is set at 10% (§ 31-1-106). While certain types of loan providers are exempt from these interest rate caps such as banks and credit unions, consumer finance lenders are still required to abide by these laws. This protects the people of Montana from usurious practices from unethical lenders.
If a consumer finance company or individual is found to be conducting such practices, that lender must then forfeit double the amount of interest being charged on the principal of a loan. If the loan has already been paid, then a borrower has two years to bring the issue to court to recover the excess amount. In this case, they will recover twice the amount of interest that they paid the lender. The borrower must first attempt, in writing, to recover the amount directly from the company before bringing the matter up in a lawsuit (§ 31-1-108).
